The tide does not crash forward all day.
It pulls back. It pauses. It returns.
Sometimes it is still—tiny ripples like glass, barely moving.
That stillness can be frightening.
Because we know: from silence, sometimes comes the storm.
From stillness, a wave may rise.
But to be still is where we find solace.
To be still is where we find calm.
To be still is where we return to ourselves.
Sometimes the tide pulls back in this stillness—not to abandon the shore, but to gather power.
You, too, are allowed to retreat—not to disappear, but to regenerate.
Rest is not selfish. It is not a flaw in your rhythm.
It is part of your divine design.
Even the ocean, vast and wild, understands this:
To move forward, she must first be still.
Try This:
Choose one moment today for sacred stillness.
Turn off your phone. Light a candle. Breathe. Let your soul exhale.
Affirmation:
“I am allowed to rest. In the stillness, I remember who I am.”
Shed What No Longer Serves
Every autumn, nature lets go. The trees become naked and stand tall—not ashamed of their shape, not clinging to what they were—but proud of what they are, even in stillness.
They remind us: letting go is not loss—it’s liberation.
In the autumn season, the forest becomes a teacher of truth. The falling leaves whisper:
“You are allowed to release. You are allowed to change.”
The forest shows us that releasing what was prepares us for what is—and for what is to come.
Each leaf, though fallen, once waited quietly in the branch, and so too do your new beginnings wait—hidden, alive, and becoming.
Letting go is not the end. It is the sacred beginning of becoming.
Ritual:
Write down what you're ready to release.
Tear it, bury it, or burn it with love. Let the act be sacred. Make space for what’s new.
Affirmation:
“I let go with grace. I do not fear the fall. I trust what is waiting to bloom.”
Flow Like Water
Water doesn’t resist. It doesn’t control. It moves. It carves canyons with patience and kisses the shore with grace.
As women, we’ve been taught to grip—to hold tightly to control, perfection, performance. But the wisdom of water is different.
She reminds us: release is not weakness—it’s wisdom.
To soften, to trust, to let life move you—that is sacred surrender.
But let us not forget:
Water is not just soft—it is strong. It is the creator of life.
It carves through mountains. It shapes valleys.
It births rivers and feeds forests.
Just like woman—
She creates life within her, and all around her.
She carves out hope in the darkest of valleys.
To flow is not to give up. To flow is to become a channel for life itself.
Healing Affirmation:
“I do not have to force. I am allowed to flow. I create, I nourish, I rise like water.”
Try This:
Take a shower or bath today as a ritual of release and remembrance.
Imagine tension washing away, and creativity rising in its place. Let the water be your prayer.
Be Like the Tree: Rooted, Resilient, Rising
Trees don’t rush to bloom.
Their strength comes from what you can’t see — their deep, unwavering roots.
But there’s more:
When the forest burns, certain trees drop their seeds — not despite the fire, but because of it.
The fire becomes part of their regeneration and resurrection.
The tree holds the power to bring the forest back to life.
It carries restoration within it — and so do you.
Within you is your resurrection. Your regeneration.
As women, we are like the tree.
Our healing begins when we reconnect — to the Mother, to the Earth, to what sustains us.
When we are grounded, we remember our resilience.
And in every breath, we testify to our rising —
from the burnt forests of our past,
from the ashes of what tried to destroy us.
So let your breath be your root.
Let your prayer be your grounding.
Let your community be your soil.
You are carrying the seeds of your own return.
Daily Ritual: Stand barefoot on the earth. Close your eyes. Feel your roots deep in the soil.
Affirmation: I am rooted. I am enough. Even in my burning, I carry the seeds of my return.
Move in Cycles: Honor Your Season
The moon doesn’t shine the same every night. Neither do we.
Some days you will glow with clarity. Others, you may fade into shadow. Still, you are whole.
Nothing in nature blooms all year. Why should you?
Honor your current season. Maybe you’re blooming. Maybe you’re resting. Both are sacred.
Reflection Prompt: What season am I in right now—blooming, shedding, resting, or returning?
Affirmation: There is power in every phase of me.
Welcome to Healed Girl Summer: You Are Nature, and Nature Is Healing

You are earth. And in her cycles, stillness, and strength, you’ll find the keys to becoming a healed, balanced, and whole woman.
Each week we’ll explore one of nature’s lessons and offer a reflection, ritual, and affirmation to guide your path.
Let’s begin.
